My Patients

Patients are our top priority. Learn how to best manage the system.

In Dive, patients don’t sign themselves up — therapists add them. To create a patient you only need a name; everything else is optional and can be filled in later from the patient profile.

  1. From the patient list, click the + button (or the “Add new patient” prompt on first use).

  2. Enter the patient’s First name. Optionally also add a Last name and Gender.

  3. Click Add. The patient appears in your list.

Each patient appears as a card in the patient list, showing their name and the next scheduled appointment. When you’ve marked the patient as having given consent, a small badge appears on their card to make this easy to spot at a glance — if consent hasn’t been marked, no badge appears.

Until consent is marked, you won’t be able to start new recordings or summaries for the patient. See Patient consent for how to mark it.
