Google Calendar

Connecting Google Calendar lets Dive show your existing calendar events on the Home dashboard’s upcoming list and inside the Schedule view. This way you see a single, complete view of your day instead of switching between two tabs — and you can use those external events as starting points for new Dive summaries.

  1. Open Settings and pick Integrations.

  2. In the Google Calendar row, click Connect.

  3. A Google sign-in screen opens. Pick the account whose calendar you want to display.

  4. Grant Dive the calendar-read permission.

  5. You’re returned to Dive; the row now shows Connected.

Once connected, events from your Google Calendar appear in the upcoming list on Home and in the Schedule view. They’re styled differently from native Dive appointments — a distinct colour and an external-source label — so you can always tell them apart at a glance.

Click any Google Calendar event to start a Dive summary against it. Dive opens the recording screen with the event already linked, and you can either record live or upload an existing audio file — see Recording or uploading a session.

The companion toggle for the integration lives at Settings > Appointments: Create Google Calendar appointment. When on (default), creating a Dive appointment also creates a matching event on your Google Calendar. Turn it off if you’d rather keep Dive appointments inside Dive only.

To disconnect, return to Settings > Integrations and click Disconnect on the Google Calendar row. Events stop appearing immediately. Reconnecting later picks up where you left off.
