Deleting your account

Account deletion in Dive isn’t a single click that wipes your account immediately. From your Settings page you submit a deletion request to Dive support, who handles the actual deletion. Crucially, there’s a three-month grace period during which you can change your mind by contacting support — your account is restored.

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Scroll to Additional settings at the bottom of the sidebar.

  3. Click Request account deletion.

  4. In the dialog, enter a short reason for the request (this helps us improve the product).

  5. Submit. You’ll see a confirmation that the request was received.

For three months after you submit the request, your account remains recoverable. If you change your mind in that window, contact Dive support and ask them to cancel the deletion — they’ll restore the account.
